    I bought this as a stand-in until my backordered Alcantara keyboard for the new Surface Pro arrived. I've actually decided to keep it - the build quality is solid, and the backlight is much brighter than the new "signature" keyboards. I was a bit bummed that on the new SP, the brightness controls for this seem to control the keyboard backlight and not the screen brightness, but there may be a setting for that which I have overlooked.

    The keys are nicely spaced. The track pad works smoothly. I chose the teal color. I still think that the keyboard cover should be included with the computer and not a separate purchase.
