I was attracted by the finger print ID and it worked pretty good when I used it. It is also very comfortable to type with it and I love it's backlit feature. The color also suited well with My black Surface Pro 6.

Comfortable to use. Extremely easy attachment and removal. If taken onto a plane, attached to the surface pro, in order to use the surface pro during takeoff and landing you will need to remove the keyboard.

Replaced my regular Surface keyboard with this one and love it. I also looked at an aluminum keyboard, but the weight made it heavier than the surface computer... Plus it needed periodic charging, so no go on the aluminum.

Great addition, makes using the surface pro so much easier.

I replaced my aginig Surface Pro 3 type cover with this updated version. The added fingerprint reader is a very welcome addition. They key motion itself feels great, as well as the trackpad.

This keyboard is just a great addition to the surface pro. It adds an additional layer of security to your device and makes it efficient to unlock your tablet using finger print sensors. It’s great.

This is quite pricey but a must have if you have a Surface Pro 6! It clicked on and off very quickly feels great and positive while using and acts as a great cover for the screen

I bought this to go with the Surface Pro 7. I have always been a fan of these keyboards. For a tablet keyboard, this is the best as it has real key travel and click. Might be a little noisy in a quiet environment. While not as good as a real Laptop keyboard - The Lenovo Thinkpads are the best - this is the best for the size and weight. I also love the fingerprint ID as it makes logging in very quick and easy. Also, nothing to charge as it stays connected to the surface pro. Would be nice to use this externally with another device, but that is not an option.

Although I really liked this item, when I got it home it wasn't compatable with my Surface 2. The clerk googled the keyboard to see if it would work with it, which was kind of annoying because he knew nothing about Microsoft products, and said more than likely it would. When returning item, customer service clerk was WONDERFUL!! He helped me purchase the right keyboard that was supposed to be compatible. Unfortunately, i had to purchase to test it out, it didn't work and he had to refund money again. All in all, this store has a very,very limited supply of just about anything I looked for. Was told to look online when finally approached by a sales person. Research before you go to this location.

This keyboard while being compact is very comfortable while using the microsoft surface. I especially like the fingerprint ID. Being removable is also great way to make the surface mobile.

Well made and Comfortable to use. Finger print sensor works well and is a nice little time saver. Finger print sensor also works when folded behind the surface to unlock while using as a tablet. Once you get used to where it is, it's easier to use than the on screen keyboard to enter pin or password. Only gripe is that the soft touch material shows marks rather quickly and is not easily cleaned. Mine is not showing any wear yet, but I've seen some that do show wear where someone rests their palms when typing.

Over the time the color is fading but overall it’s a nice keyboard. Love the fingerprint ID
