The fingerprint ID make such a big difference it definitely makes everything so much easier getting into an accessing other things that you do

I hate small keyboards, but this one work well. The magnetic attachment is a really nice touch and the keys feel good to the touch. Alcantara was a good choice for this keyboard.

I always liked the typecover and when I saw they started making it with fingerprint ID I was so happy. So easy to use and so much quicker than facial recognition and or pin number.

If I am streaming movies with my headphones the camera will sometimes not recognize my face. The fingerprint reader makes logging in so easy - love that it is back-lit as well!

A really great product! I used this product with my surface pro 7. Everything worked out really great!

While my Surface Pro 5 (this does also fit other models, check your Surface model for compatibility before purchasing) supports the Windows Hello Face ID to log in, I’ve always been a fan of the fingerprint instead. I’ve had too many times when using the Face ID where I accidentally walk past my PC, look at it, and it unlocks. This adds the missing fingerprint scanner to your Surface Pro without adding any bulk beyond the regular type cover and works great - the keyboard is easy to use, the touchpad is comfortable and works well and the fingerprint sensor is fast and easy.

This attaches very easily with the Microsoft surface pro 6 that I have. Initially it seemed a little tricky to get used to the keys, but after a while it was all good.

Solid feel to unit. Love the feel of the keys. Had I known how good the facial recognition of the computer was I would have skipped the fingerprint reader.

bought it with my surface laptop , it worked till now perfectly , love it , smooth, fast functions, easy to use just click and attached !

Love this Surface keyboard and my Surface Pro 7. Such a convenient and functional tablet and this keyboard is a great addition.

I purchased the Surface Pro Type Cover with Finger Print ID when I bought my MS Surface Pro. I decided to go with the Finger Print ID because it would allow me an additional layer of security. What I didn't realize at the time is that the newest version of Microsoft has a built if facial recognition feature called Hello, so the finger print really isn't necessary, but a nice backup. I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because upon setting up the finger print reader it repeatedly had trouble reading my finger print. I did everything I told me to, over and over again...clean the scanner, wash my hands, etc...it had difficulty reading my finger prints. So while I think it can be a wonderful security feature I think there needs to be some work done to improve the reader's capability truly scan the fingerprint.

This light weight compact keyboard is perfect for me as I juggle work, school and an internship. The fingerprint security is fast and reliable. It is awesome!

You have to have one of these pad to make the computer work to the level it is suppose to. The fingerprint ID works very well. Simplifies opening up the computer. Key pad works great however buy a separate mouse. It is the only way you can make this work. I did not have this problem on one pad, I have had it with 3 pads. The same challenge. The mouse disappears all the time and the only way to get it to show back up again is to close the lid and reopen. Good luck.

I really enjoy this keyboard. The functionality is great as is the travel of the keys. I've completely replaced a laptop with the surface and am so glad.

Works great; the fingerprint makes it worth the price

Smooth as silk, this is our second one and an upgrade. Great system and the old one still works great as well.

I like this product. its additional keyboard and same time protection to your Microsoft product. In addition it has a fingerprint :) easy to get in.

I didn’t think I needed a keyboard for my surface pro tablet, but it makes it a lot easier for me to work efficiently.

Only real complaint is that it only comes in black. Would have liked some color, but it is great to have it so I don't have to type my password in every time it times out. Geek Squad set it up which made it really simple.
