This detachable keyboard works very, very well. You have a good sense of how fast you are typing and how fast the mechanical action in the keys responds to what you do.

The surface 2 keyboard is the ultimate accessory for a ready great tablet. It doubles up as a cover for the surface 2 and I find it to be extremely durable and rugged.

I am very pleased with this keyboard and happy I choose this opposed the "touch" keyboard. The purple is a very nice color.

Love this keyboard. I bought it for my surface rt. The color is awesome (purple). The backlight is awesome as well and I like the feel of the Keyboard when I type.

I thought this was going to be a hassle to put together. I thought it was going to be difficult and time consuming to transform this device from laptop to tablet

It does what I bought it for and it's great for opening my mail and working on files and pages. The only issue that I run into is that some times it sticks when I am trying to work fast and does not move as fast as I need it to.

Wish the price was cheaper but I guess like every thing else you pay for the name. I think the product could be a little better made. I would like to have the same set up but for the product to protect the tablet when not in use.

I love it most because it's my favorite color, purple! It snaps on and off my surface pro easily. It's easy to use and feels good. And it's purple! Love it!

Small keyboard, but the keys are large enough to make typing comfortable. I love that it comes in colors...I selected purple. A must have for a tablet!

I tried several keyboards for the Surface Pro and this was the best for tactile feel. That it is backlit too was an added bonus, but not a deciding factor.

This has been a great keyboard/mouse pad. Grabs the Surface, just like the ads. Protects the Surface screen when not in use. Silicone feel to it. Love it!

Great gift for students, all the features they need plus great aps to download. Switched keyboards for easier use. Would be better if they could put an I- tunes ap on it.

While I really like the touch screen on my surface it is nice to have a keyboard when I want to type a lot. Love the color choices I had. Great product.

I can put it right onto my tablet very easily .It has everything on it just like a regular key board .MY big problem is the mouse does not connect as fast as it should .

The Type 2 cover for the Surface is durable and enhances the convenience of the product. I love it and after much debate, am pleased I chose purple!

I really like this keyboard. The mouse pad is a little challenging to get to work but is definitely helpful with microsoft word. If you had bigger hands the keyboard might be kind of small. Overall I like this product.
