We had bought the original touch keyboard for my daughter and she did not like the lack of tactile feel from that keyboard, so we bought this one and she loves it. The Backlit keyboard was an added bonus.

Slim and sleek just like the Surface. Much needed to make it like a computer and take advantage of a full screen.

Easy to use with tablet, a little expensive for a keyboard but worth money for easy of use.

I love the feel and ease of this keyboard. It's full size, but doesn't feel too big for my small hands. I like that when not in use and closed, it protects the screen. I would love to see a number pad on the side for when I have to work from home. Otherwise this is definitely a great addition to the Surface.

This is a great keyboard for the surface tablets. Its magnetic attachement makes incredibly easy to attach and remove and the back lit keys are great.. I don't think there is a better keyboard on the market for the Surface. The color options available are pretty cool as well. A tad pricey but well worth it.

Love the colors, soft keys. Is great for doing homework. It attaches easily. Comfortable.

I found this to be a very good keyboard for my tablet. It doesn't add much weight to the unit and typing experience makes it feel like a laptop keyboard. Windows 8.1 does always default to the keyboard when clicking into text boxes. The touch pad take a little time to get use to the feel but not bad. Windows 8.1 doesn't recognize its attached after hibernation sometimes, easy fix is to remove and attach again.

I have not had any problems with this keyboard and it makes using the Surface 2 so much easier for me.

You kind of need the type cover if you want to truly use your Surface as a replacement for a laptop.

I have not been able to use this product as much as I would like. The reason for that is I am not able to figure out the tablet like I would like. The keyboard itself is really great tho. I like the feel of it, and look forward to using it more. The many colors that are available is fun too. As I am a blue person, that is the color I chose, and love it. The keyboard is a great addition to the tablet.

This keyboard does everything it advertised to do. Connects easily to the surface tablet. The keys had a good feel to them and makes it easier to type than the on screen keyboard. The backlit keys are a nice touch when using in dim light. My only complaint would be that there is no number pad but that is normal for a keyboard of this size. The keyboard also helps protect the surface when not in use

Works great as a keyboard and as a cover for a surface tablet. My only complaint is the touchpad. It's quite bad in comparison to the average laptop, and the simple act of right clicking is, at times, a chore. Still, for me, it's the best keyboard you can get for a tablet that still maintains the tablet form factor without sacrificing typing ability/speed (like the surface touch cover).

Really like having this keyboard for the surface, but do not understand why it is not provided with the surface instead of having to purchase it separately. Especially when it is advertised with the keyboard so prominently.

This is a nice feature that improves the usability of the Surface table, especially for e-mail and word processing. It's easy to attach and fits well with the tablet. The feel of the keys is a bit different and takes some getting used to. Haven't used it all that long, but for doing much lengthier typing chores, I'd still prefer a keyboard. But since I'm not a novelist, this is not a problem.

Someone I know had recommended this and I love it. it works great on my surface pro. Now that I have attached it, I close it and leave it on there and it covers the screen when I place in my bag. Can't believe I waited this long to get it. I have never had a problem with it at all.

Excellent cover for a Surface Tab and does a great job of protecting the glass. Additionally also serves as a very functional keyboard. A must have!

Perfect little keyboard! The back lighing can be adfusted to fit any kind of lighting issues.

The screen lights up, it's slim and easy to flip back, detach, and re-attach. The mouse pad on the keyboard also operates the screen as if you were using the screen itself, so you can scroll and zoom by using two fingers on the mouse pad. This keeps fingerprints off the screen!!!

love the way it snaps on and off with no problem whatsoever. great keyoard.
