love it. didn't like the keyboard without the raised letters

This is a great keyboard for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3.We purchased two of them in different colors.The keyboard acts as a hard cover too.The keyboard attached strongly with its magnet.We are very happy with this quality!

Easy to connect and it is a wonderful addition to the Surface.

I like it better than the touch keyboard because it is easier to use and the keys actually press down which makes it more responsive. The back-light is amazing as well, makes it fun to use in the dark or darker conditions.

It is a better product than the touch keyboard and I would recommend getting this one if there is going to be a lot of typing involved. My son uses his surface for school and this keyboard has been much better for him.

It's just a great keyboard. I like the fact that it lights up automatically so it makes it easy to use at night where there isn't much light. I have the blue keyboard and it's very nice. I can't say anything bad about it.

On the recommendation of the Best Buy staff (who really do know their stuff), I got the more expensive detachable keyboard for the Surface NT because the whole thing is backlit, and I'm very glad I did. This makes it easier to use in low lighting conditions. It also has, I think, a more solid "feel" than the less expansive keyboard. In addition, it provides great protection for the screen. My only real problem is when I use it on any surface that's not completely flat, when it becomes a little wobbly--not a huge downside, though. (I didn't actually intend to get it in purple, but it's grown on me, and the color isn't too blinding.) I really like the magnetized connection between the tablet and the keyboard, too. It's very easy to remove and to put back again.

I bought this keyboard because I bought a surface RT on thanksgiving 2013 with door buster price, I like it so far so good, nothing complaint or any problem. I recommend to a friend to buy and use this keyboard as I am.

My wife uses this with the Surface tablet and it is very convenient for the most common typing and mouse/touchpad functions needed for regular user interaction. If you buy a Surface tablet, then this is a must have.

Keys work very well and gives your Surface a laptop feel/function when the touch function is not enough. The glide pad is ok, but a little clumsy to use. The glide area and mouse buttons are not clearly defined.

This is the must have keyboard attachment for the Surface, regardless of version. The cheaper model is not back-lit and the keys are just touch sensitive squares with no feed-back. This model has back-lit mini mechanical keys that "click" when you type on them and give you the touch feedback of actually striking some keys. Takes a little getting used to, much smaller than regular and even laptop keyboards.. but that is a given due to the screen size. Once in the swing of it, your fingers adjust fairly well. The downside of this product is the mouse pad. It's the same texture as the palm rest so you don't know without looking if you're actually on it or not. Also the buttons, despite the letter keys, are not real mechanical keys! They are merely touch "sweet spots" for clicking and you have no real feedback to let you know you were in the right spot or not. Often results in having to try several times. Easily remedied by using a wireless mouse, or better yet your finger or pen that came with the surface!

My ten year old loves his Surface with type cover.

The Type cover is a must for the Surface. It snaps into place easily, and works as expected. The touch pad is responsive and works great. Also, the Type cover is great for protecting the Surface when on the go.

This keyboard is very thin, durable and convenient. It makes working on the Surface Pro 2 a breeze.

Liked it just used surface more as tablet used once but works great but a little to flat and flimsy love color option and how it lights up but I like useing tablet more then computer but nice to have option

The keyboard is absolutely great! I love that i can have it in my lap while laying in bed and still be able to use it. love the fact i can use it as a protector for the screen! The backlit light is great.

Although it has only been a month since receiving this product, it has held up better than we expected. This keyboard/cover was purchased for a high schooler, so that he could use his tablet at school.

Easy to use, responsive keys and the purple color I bought is a great and still looks professional. If using with Microsoft software I believe this is the better choice than the other SURFACE option.
