The keyboard for my Microsoft surface 2 snaps on so easily and is just like a regular keyboard. I love the back light on the keys.

The light up keys are perfect for night time laying in bed or on the couch. The push keys are great for fast typers and is very exact.

After getting a Surface for Christmas, this was the perfect accessory. I like that it's a full button keyboard. It also protects the screen very well.

It is easy to set up. It is also compact and can be stored and carried easily with the tablet. It also seems to be pretty durable.

The keyboard works wonderfully! Make sure your hands are clean though... it has more of a fabric surface and does get dirty.

Excellent, but I find myself not using it. I bought it bcs I had never typed directly on to a screen and was afraid I would be constantly hitting the wrong key. After an hour of using the on-screen keyboard, however, I find typing on the touchscreen just as effective as on the type cover, and for most uses more convenient. I clicked on 'not recommended' but in fact it would depend on my friend's circumstances and how he intended to use his Surface. Unfortunately, one can only give a yes/no nswer.

Purchased 2 for my teenagers. I have used multiple times. Very nice to type on. Stable connection to RT. Well worth the price

I'm used to using desk top computers so the keyboard is terrific. Being able to detach it when not needed is very useful.

I love how this works with the surface. It's comfortable, easy to attach and detach.

The light touch keyboard the surface comes with is terrible. This keyboard with real keys is so much better. I can actually type now without having a missed keystroke every third word.
