worth the extra cost keyboard nice large keys soft touch use/ and serves as a cover for the tablet when folded closed/ is detachable so tablet can be used alone. Easy attach detach magnets hold the two parts together.. If in dark can always use tablet keyboard which I don't like to use.

I love it, you can choose your color and work like a regular type cover, the only area I don't like it's the mouse for me is sometimes difficult to work with but is touch screen so that area is solved.

Using this keyboard with the Surface RT is a great new addition for this product. The keys are very responsive, and the backlight is a great addition.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 2 and I love it. I can type easily and fast. The magnet that holds it in place is super strong and the cover folds back and comes off with ease. A must-buy accessory.

I am amazed at how perfect the keyboard is to use. Simply place it near your Surface & it basically snaps on by itself. The keyboard lights up in the dark. It's super light & comfortable to use.

I've really enjoyed the new, backlit keyboard. The distinctive color is fun, but more importantly, it has made my time with the Microsoft Surface much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this upgrade.

For fairly heavy duty writing for school assignments, the keyboard is more than adequate. Certainly not as good as my laptop, but far superior to on screen keyboard

Works great as a replacement for my laptop. I like to flip the cover to the back and hold the Surface like a tablet, not sure yet if the cover is going to hold up against the wear and tear.

I like the option of having a desktop type keyboard. Wife is not to keen on tablet keyboard and prefers the standard type. I'm still bringing her kicking and screaming into the 21 Century :)

I love the color on this keyboard but because of the material used it gets dirty easily and is difficult to clean off. I've only had it a few weeks and it's already dingy and dirty. Wanted to get away from the boring black but now wish I had bought the black instead.

This is an absolute must if you buy a Surface. It's a cover and a keyboard. The keyboard is very responsive and works great. Love that it connects magnetically. It is pricey but worth it.

I love keyboards so I was excited to buy a tablet that is affordable compared to a computer and is detachable! I love my purple keyboard!

The cover for the Surface Pro 2 fits very snug to the tablet and was very easy to install. We would recommend that you purchase a cover for this product along with the protection screen.

In my eye this is a must and probally one of the best feature of the surface tablet. the keyboard doubles as a protector for the tablet.

The fist type cover 2 I picked up didn't work on some keys, but I took it back to the best buy store and they replaced it on the spot. Since then everything is flawless and awesome.

This keypad delivers exactly what we expect its functions to deliver. My only reason why i didnt give it a 5 star is because it's too sensitive to dirt. I haven't found a good product to clean it without risking its keys. Other than that, i recommend it!

My Samsung electric convection oven is beautiful and great! It has a smooth cook top and is easy to cook on and clean. The convection oven is a plus for even and quick baking!

Bought this with Surface pro 2 for my 12 year old son. he loves it. prefers it over laptop and loves the response of the keyboard.

It worked out of the box with the surface pro but with some glitches, the touchpad is not very responsive and sometimes after restarting or waking up it is not detected by the surface pro. And just to clarify, the surface pro has all the updates so far.
