This keyboard is small, lightweight, and has a great feel to it. I can actually know that I am typing a key versus just touching something and not knowing if it registered or not.

I am very happy that I went ahead and purchased the keyboard along with the tablet. It allows me the option of using the Microsoft Surface as a laptop when I want to type a lot.

HE WAS SO THRILLED TO HOOK IT TO HIS SURFACE, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS ABLE TO USE THE TABLET WITHOUT IT. BUT THE ADDITION OF THE COVER MADE IT SO MUCH EASIER TO ENABLE QUICKER USAGE.

This is a necessary evil for any Surface purchase (Pro or RT). I have a Surface Pro, and it's nice that the keys are disabled when it is folded behind the device, but usually I just take it off if I'm going to use it without the keyboard. It's EXPENSIVE and I probably could have gotten an actual Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse and been just as happy without the same cost. So ... I'm lukewarm on it. But it's enough that I would recommend it. But barely.

The cover is a must have for extensive typing on the Surface. It would be nice if it was secured to the Surface while its closed. It has a better feel than the touch cover.

If you buy the Microsoft Surface this keyboard is a must, It attaches so nice and similar to a laptop keyboard. I would not use the Surface with the less expense keyboard.

ill just list the flaws... the color and texture might turn off some people. i for one would want more options. sometimes the mouse does not respond. but the keyboard always works. the mouse gets back online within a few seconds though. the track pad is good on the go but for some reason, its hard to be pin point accurate with it. slow precise movements just take a little bit more time. not with everything though. but you will know what im talking about when the time comes. i would recommend the surface pro mouse with this keypad.

THIS KEYBOARD FITS RIGHT INTO THE SURFER. CHOSE THE BLACK ONE TO MATCH THE SURFER. IT IS VERY LIGHT AND I ENJOY IT VERY MUCH

I love the ease of attaching and setting this up with my Surface. It is fantastic since it feels most like a regular keyboard. You even get that clicking keyboard sound!

The keyboard is a must have, especially if you type much or do a lot of copy and paste on your Pro. The keyboard is small and works well or smaller hands, but takes some adjusting to if you have larger hands. The keyboard also doubles as a "cover" for the screen of the pro and has a soft backing that protects wood surfaces when setting your Pro down. It attaches easily - with a major magnet. Only downfall, besides the small keyboard is where to put the keyboard when not in use. I have found that it "deactivates" when folded behind the screen. Weird to have the keyboard there, but it doesn't affect functionality.

the key board is better than the touch one becuase its easier to use but it is priceyy$$$

I got this "touchy-clicky" keyboard over the "touchy-NO clicky" keyboard because I like the tactile feedback that a key has been pressed. The keyboard is rather sensitive and I keep "tripping" over a nearby key and entering characters I didn't want. Maybe my fingers are too big? The track pad is overly sensitive in my estimation: I bought a Microsoft ARC Touch mouse to use instead. The magnetic attachment is robust; just put the attachment lip near the Surface Pro and the magnets almost snatch the keyboard out of your hand and snap it into place! It also provides a nice cover for the glass screen of the Surface Pro

This is the best keyboard I have ever used with a tablet. It is easy to use and is attached via a very strong magnet to the tablet, so no other power source is required

This keyboard went great with my new tablet/laptop. I would definitely recommend this keyboard over the other flatter keyboard. The small price difference is worth the better quality!

This keyboard works great with the surface. It connects well and has a non slip back..

Keyboard is a nice accessory. I am used to typing on a laptop with a touchpad, but this one is located where it is easily bumped by my hand when typing and causing my cursor to move.

Great keyboard for the surface, way better than the touch because the keys actually move. Hard to get used to after using full size keyboards all the time though.

Tried to use the included soft keyboard, but it was a bust. Not feeling the clicks kept throwing me off. This keyboard is awesome as a companion for the surface.

The keyboard makes my tablet fee more like a laptop. I like to sit on the sofa with the tablet on my lap and with the keyboard and the kickstand, I can do that.

Works great and is fantastic to have a real feeling keyboard. I have to write more to submit though there really isn't more to write. I like the keyboard, okay.
