I like the ability to detach it and get it out of the way. It stows folded behind but not comfortable to use Surface like this. My palms have a tendency to brush keys which messes with the curser. Touchpad is not very responsive at times.

Love the touch keyboard for Surface RT

I like the feel of the touch keyboard and also how easy it was to take off and put back on, just like the commercial. My sister used the keyboard exclusively, as she is a mouse person not a touchpad person,she complained about the touch pad.

Excellent keyboard for the Surface Pro

Keys work comfortably and efficiently. For me it was worth the extra $10 or so over the touchpad keyboard although I'm sure that works fine. I'm a university professor and it looks more professional in meetings and in the classroom.

Microsoft - Type Cover for Surface - Black

The negative was that key strokes were not registered on the surface screens at times. This could be upsetting at times but overall it is great to have.
