Sometimes when I take off the keyboard and I attached it back to the device it will not work at all so I have to do the same thing again once and sometimes twice, this is the only bad thing about it but I barely have this issue. The keyboard is good and is better than other colored keyboards from my opinion.

I got mine caught in the electric recliner, I thought it was toast by how far it bent. Nope it wokrs fine! I will not tempt fate though, will be more carefull.

I tried both keyboards when I came in to buy my Surface. I had wanted to purchase one of the colorful ones, but didn't like the feel of the rubber. I prefer the clicky feel to the black keyboard. It is a small keyboard and is perfect for me, but for a person with large hands, they might have a problem.

It is a great but an you get a lit of screen real estate with the add on keyboard plus the typing is much more faster. The keyboard is great it has the type feedback that I like. The mouse touch pad too is great too. However as a cover, the material does not feel as slick as it could potentially be.

I really like that the keyboard attaches very easily without having to align pins etc. It also works as a great cover to protect the screen. Mouse pad on keyboard works great. This was the perfect addition to my Surface Pro that allows me to use it just like other laptops.

I highly recommend this cover to any Surface owners (or potential owners) looking for a keyboard to use with their device. Unlike most bluetooth solutions, this keyboard provides a high amount of functionality without compromising the form and feel of the tablet. It neatly folds against the Surface when not in use, which automatically puts the Surface in sleep mode. The keys feel great and provide a nice "click" and feedback when pressed. My only major complaint is in regards to the function keys. Particularly, users need to press and hold a separate function key in order to access the standard F1-F12 keys. This may slow productivity for users that rely on these keys often. Otherwise, this is a great product and am glad I made the purchase, even considering the price.

This keyboard is the upgraded model to the one normally sold with the Surface. It looks and feels like a standard keyboard. It complements the Surface well when a keyboard is needed.

This takes your surface and turns it into a laptop when needed. Highly recommend this over the touch keyboard. It's only $10 more, you're spending 800+ on your surface, might as well get the better keyboard as well.

Works great. Easy to put together. However, it still feels like the buttons are too close together. I can never type perfect with this thing. Also, sometimes it is not detected by the computer, which gets annoying after the first time.

This is a great design, attaches magnetically, and attaches/detaches very easily. Good feel, with a "click" of the keys. Includes a mouse pad. Makes doing business on a tablet size device very much like a desktop

If you have a Surface tablet, this is the keyboard to get. Very easy to type on it, makes a great cover for the Surface, barely adds any thickness. If I had kept the Surface tablet, I'd have kept the keyboard.

Microsoft wisely designed its keyboard covers and Surface tablets together from the very beginning. Rather than leaving such a vital peripheral to be developed by a third party for a device never designed to be used with a keyboard cover, Microsoft successfully developed keyboard covers necessary for anyone who utilizes their tablet for extensive writing. I prefer the 'type' cover currently being reviewed over the competing 'touch' cover Microsoft also produces. However, my wife prefers the touch cover on her Surface PRO tablet. Hence, one is likely to find either keyboard cover sufficient for their purposes -- it simply comes down to a matter of preference for how the keys feel while using the keyboard.

When reading all the reviews, this keyboard was the most recommended for the Surface. It's better constructed then the very fine keyboards. If you plan on doing major typing I would go recommend this.

I got this initially with my surface pro. It allows easy typing. The problem is that sometime using the touchpad buttons moves the mouse. Overall it is great to type, I have typed pages and pages of blog with it.

This is a must for any Surface owner. It would be nice if it came in colors other than black but that is a small complaint. It is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it.

Great keyboard to type and do regular work on. I feel it is not unlike any other keyboard. I like that it has a magnetic attachment, helps to quickly attach and work from there.

One of the best features of the Surface is the click on- pull apart keyboard. I've found that the wider keys help avoid mistakes while typing although it takes a few goes to get use to it.

Chose this touch cover over the regular one, because I want to feel the keyboard while I type. It feels weird on the normal cover because it doesn't respond well.

I really like this keyboard. It is just like a regular laptop keyboard feel just a little smaller

A must have for large amounts of typing. Due to this table having MS Office, I purchased the keyboard. Glad that I did as it works great.
