This is by far the coolest keyboard on the market.

This is a nice keyboard design that is slim and snaps on very nicely. The keyboard is small so its layout is slightly different from the standard laptop so it takes a little time getting used to. One negative for me is the mouse pads that gets in the way of my typing. Guess I can adjust the palm sensitivity on it.

This compact keyboard is working fine. I cant say that this is the best I have used. For Now (5/17/2013), is the only keyboard in this style on the market. Hope to have something with a more responsive track pad one day.

Good to have a keyboard handy when you are in travel. Typing on the screen is not so easy sometimes since we are used to typing on a 'real' keyboard. This is good to have so you have the feel of having a real pc with you, and a tablet when you just want to navigate.

I am glad I got this keyboard versus the touch keyboard. I can type as fast on this one as my regular keyboards.

I know....it has to be flat....I get that, but I wish I was able to raise it like I have my desktop keyboard. I got this one over the completely flat ones because I'm old fashioned and like the feel of a key being depressed. :)

Keyboard is decent. It doubles as a cover for the screen when transporting the tablet, which is nice. The only downside is the trackpad, as it's very lackluster and could be much better.

This keyboard gives the Surface RT function beyond an Apple or Android tablet. This is a Windows 8 environment and the keyboard builds on that and elevates it. Say hello to your new desktop!

I highly recommend adding this one for your Surface as it does come in handy!

Complements the Surface Pro perfectly. The trackpad could be a little bigger but overall, very impressed.

This is a must have for the Surface. It turns the tablet into a usable computer. Don't leave the store without it.

Love the type keyboard. Tried the touch keyboard in the store and didn't like it at all. All it needs is a programmable softkey.

Beware Power Users! You will disappointed to discover the function keys on the Surface Type (and Touch) Covers do not work like you would expect. To press the F1-F12 keys you need to hold down an additional Fn located on the lower right side of the keyboard. This means you can't quickly poke the function key shortcuts that you have been using for years. This gets even more ridiculous when you attempt multi-key shortcuts while holding down the Fn key. Unfortunately this is a hardware/BIOS design issue and can't be fixed with a simple software patch. There is beginning to be some negative chatter about this. For some, this is a huge design error and a productivity problem. The general feeling is that Microsoft got this wrong. Microsoft is being very quiet. If you are a power user and rely on the function key shortcuts, you are going to be frustrated with this keyboard. Before coughing up this hefty price, you might want to consider either waiting for the 2.0 Type Cover or consider a Windows Bluetooth keyboard.

Must have for surface pro users, dust collector and has to be wiped everytime you use it.
