This is a fantastic addition to the Surface. I like it so much that I feel it should be an integral component of the Surface RT and Surface Pro. There is some flex to the keyboard, but it doesn't interfere with the results. Get it or its counterpart if you purchase a Surface of one type or the other.

Love the fact that I can have a full size keyboard when I need one, but can detach it easily & still have all the functions available. Perfect fix for the need to carry a laptop & or tablet.

Wanted to get the keyboard when I bought the Surface RT. I'm in my fifties and not into touching the screen all the time. Do use my finger to scroll when on websites, but always use the keyboard when typing anything. Spacing of the keys, for me, seems at times awkward, but still glad I bought it.

Works better than the touchscreen keyboard, but sometimes misses keystrokes. Pricey addition to the Surface, but works well as a screen cover when not in use.

The cover/keypad does exactly what it is supposed to do--protect and provide adequate typing. It attaches and detaches easily, but stays attached when just folding it over behind tablet.

Good keyboard for what it is. Keys have a good feel, and keyboard folds over face to act as a display protector. Snaps on/off really easily with a self-aligning type connection. Touch pad selection keys are a bit mushy, but overall a good keyboard.

This keyboard gives you a similar feeling to typing on the keyboard of a traditional desktop or laptop keyboard. It feels better than the colored, flat keyboards that are also available. The slim construction goes well with the portable Surface.

Works well with the MS Tablet. Had the original keyboard that came with the Tablet and had a hard time typing and hitting the correct keys. This one is much better. Like using a regular keyboard.

I love this keyboard cover. When I want to use the Surface as a tablet the keyboard cover detaches so easily and I just place it off to the side. It pretty much guides itself back into place when you ned to reattach it. Haven't had any issues with typing, the keys are responsive.

I like that there is a real keyboard option for the Surface tablet. For me it makes incredible sense. I hate using touch screens to type, so snapping this keyboard on the Surface allows me to use it as a computer replacement for creating business documents and emails anywhere in the house or on the road.

I was in a meeting the other day, and a woman sitting next to me suddenly said, "Where did that come from?" because I had my Surface Pro on my lap with this keyboard attached, and it looked like I had a laptop all of a sudden. She couldn't figure out how she didn't see it before. That's one of the great things about this keyboard, is it gives you full laptop functionality from a tablet. My only real complaint is that it doesn't work well on your lap, whereas a laptop does really well in this situation. The reason this one doesn't do as well is that it's not solidly attached to the Surface, which isn't an issue on a table or other solid surface, but on your lap it can be an issue. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, even at full retail.

This keyboard (and my wireless mouse) were a great asset to me when setting up my Surface tablet because there were certain phases where a keyboard entry was necessary. At the time, I did not know how to use the tablet well enough to know how to use the built in keyboard,

I did some review on the keyboards online. Come to find out Microsoft had a free offer towards the keyboards when purchasing a surface. I then called Best Buy and they honored this offer. SCORED! Love it!

The keyboard snaps on securely and easily, also doubling as a cover for the Microsoft Suface. The raised keys make typing easier.

The Touch Cover is the ideal complement to the Surface Pro. It feels and types like a normal keyboard and transforms the Surface Pro tablet into a laptop. In my opinion, if you buy the Surface Pro, you need this accessory.

Surprisingly good keyboard. I can type pretty much full speed on this, much faster then anticipated. I especially like the tactile feedback of actual keys. My only complaint is that fingerprints show up on the black keyboard. Still very happy with this purchase.

A wonderful companion for the Surface. Though a little cramped for those of us with big hands, it's portability is great, and the size of the keys is perfect.

I love this keyboard. I found myself in Miami needing to remote desktop into my computer in Utah. Thanks to this keyboard I was able to do so with no slow down. Makes my Surface feel just like the best laptop I've ever had. The touch pad (built in) is awesome!

The sales associate thought I would prefer this keyboard over the touch keyboard and I think he was right. I like the feel of the keys and have had no problem with adjusting to it. I love the way it attaches to the Surface and is a convenient cover. Genius.

This is a real keyboard which not only attaches quickly and easily to the Surface Pro but provides good protection to the screen when not in use. It responds well to touch and provides much better tactile feedback than a touch cover for only pennies more.
