One of the needed extras that (any) tablet format needs if you want to type. Microsoft just built a good one.

The optional keyboard for the Surface Pro 3 is perfect. From the track pad to the feel of the keys. Perfect for writing out emails on a train or airplane.

Enjoy the option of working with the keyboard either completely flat or slightly angled. Has a sturdy feel comparable to using the keyboard on your laptop.

I bought it together with my SP III these two items are "made" for each other... so seamless to get up and running, physically connect, and start typing!

I bought this product to support my purchase of a surface pro 3. I have been more than satisfied with the keyboard and its ease of use and functionality.

Works as expected. All keys depress upon keystroke, unlike the original keyboard. Great replacement.

Not sure what to say other than it works. It pretty much attaches itself when you hold it near the bottom of the Surface. Touch pad is better than most.

I like this keyboard because it feels real. The multi point magnetic strip clips to the Surface and stays on and makes for a great cover when not in use.

Good overall keyboard cover with good travel keys and nice touchpad. It is well though to disable when flipped. Cannot speak to the quality of material but doubtful it is durable, hope I am wrong.

Since I use the Surface Pro 3 for business, the keyboard is an important necessity. Its easy to attach and type. Different color choices are available.

The keyboard allows the surface pro 3 to become a real workhorse - documents, spreadsheets, powerpoints - like a laptop, but better with this keyboard.

The surface pro 3 has been my best electronic purchase and the type keyboard just adds to it. Small and compact but large enough to type comfortably.

The type cover is a must have!! The type cover connects magnetically and doubles as a screen cover when closed. Has hot keys and mouse works great!

Nice cover, workable keyboard. Picture showed a stylus holder but mine did not come with one. No place to keep the stylus with the Surface Pro 3.

Finally a real keyboard for a tablet. This is much improved since the Surface, and now it has transformed the Surface 3 into a full blown laptop.

The keyboard is bigger than the original Surface keyboard. The touchpad area is bigger too. It works and is comfortable. That's all that matters.

The keyboard buttons don't always type when pushed especially the space bar. When the keyboard and pro 3 are in a case the keyboard usually stays folded and does not completely open up with the case and needs to be adjusted each time.

Keyboard responds great and the type feeling is excellent. The backlight makes it easy to use in the dark. Goes excellent with the Surface Pro 3.

love the keyboard, although I think it should come included with the surface 3 purchase. I got so fed up with the touchpad that I bought a Bluetooth mouse. keyboard is worth buying, though.

The perfect supplement to the Surface pro 3. Definitely worth the extra money, as it is so much more convenient than the keyboard on the tablet.
