got the navy blue. shows lotsa fingerprints and I find myself pounding this keyboard very hard (especially the space bar) to get characters and separating words when i type. Don't know if anyone else has this issue but is slightly annoying. Still better than using the online Surface keyboard and keyboard keys light (varying degrees of brightness) attaches easily to the Surface via port/magnetically and can be raised or laid flat.

I bought two of these computers with key board and case for my daughters who were going away to college this year. They love them. They are very convenient to carry to class - they act as a tablet which makes it easier to take notes especially when you are in a lecture hall. The key board can be attached when sitting at a desk. Awesome purchase.

The keyboard is worth the money. It lights up! I did have buyer remorse for a second when I tried to use the Surface Pro 3 as a LAPtop. I had to balance the fold out edge on my knees and watch my movements, to not knock it over. I wish they made the attachable keyboard sturdy enough to hold it upright like a laptop. Besides that it's been great!

There really isn't another typecover available for the Surface Pro 3, so it doesn't matter what kind of review this gets I guess. The thing is surprisingly durable, and clips easily and exactly into the computer. The only problem is the touchpad. It's a bit small and awkward to use, but if you use the USB port on the computer for a mouse you're set. I mean, it's a touchscreen computer too, so it's not that big of a deal.

Attaches easy, clicks when typing, feels like a real keyboard

Hey, it's a keyboard. Kinda tough to get worked up about it. It is really cool with a quick detach/connect to the Surface Pro 3. A magnetic connection keeps the keyboard secured to the Surface very well. The keyboard has all of the features you get with a full size keyboard and it has great feel when typing. It's still a keyboard though....

I have a surface 3 and have this keyboard. I really enjoy the keyboard feel as you type and it is a must option if you do a lot of typing on the PC. It is way better than using the tablet virtual keyboard. The magnets allow you to snap it on effortlessly. It also doubles as a cover for your tablet screen. This is a must have with the surface 3.

Attach and detach easily. Very light and comfortable keys.

When I saw the TV commercials with the keyboard snapping into place I thought, "Yeah, I bet.". But the magnets installed around the connectors actually make the keyboard snap to the Surface. The Surface Pro 3 REALLY requires this keyboard to do any serious work. I can't imagine trying to work in a spreadsheet with just the onscreen keys.

I bought this with my surface pro 3. It magnetically clips to the computer and has a nice adjustable magnetic fold that gives a good angle for typing. It folds to the back when I use the surface with my stylus and works as a screen cover that puts the surface to sleep. I bought the heaviest duty protective case I could and a tempered glass screen protector for the Surface, and the keypad still works fine. The weakness is the adhesive slot for the stylus. It falls off quite often as the sticky stuff isn't so sticky and the texture of the keypad is sort of like suede. I have finally given up on this stylus keeper and thrown it away. I prefer to use the stylus' own clip to attach it directly along fold of the keypad. This however prevents the keypad from folding to a nice angle for use. I'm really going to have to just get used to putting the stylus in my bag. I got navy blue color and it is very nice, but looks a little dusty. I wish I had gone for black

Functional and protects screen in carry bag. To me it is easier to use than typing on screen.

The back light, touch pad, and magnetic hold are nice features. My complaints are that the keyboard stops working sometimes when slightly off a flat surface (I have to detach/reattach it again before the tablet recognizes it) and the cover is a bit prone to getting dirty right away. As for personal preference, I would like to have two Ctrl buttons and a better pen holder, but overall, it is still a good type cover.

I like some of the features it has. I also like the size and weight, also the durability.

It's a good and really useful thing off you want to use this comfortably. Price is too big !
