best part about this keyboard is it has back-lit keys and is extremely soft and very intuitive. excellent product - no complaints whatsoever!

The type cover for the Surface pro 3 provides a keyboard that allows the user the leverage the power of the Surface Pro 3 as a laptop computer.

When we purchased the Surface Pro, we knew we would purchase the keyboard. As it turns out, it was a very good addition - that should have been included with the computer for that price.

This keyboard connects easily, had props up against the Surface nice. The best feature is that it is backlit. It should be included with the price of the surface, as it a bit pricey.

I would suggest purchasing the keyboard/cover. This option is a great investment if you will be typing longer papers. It is more efficient.

The only thing I miss is my number pad, but I've been fine without it. I love the back lit keys, and the feeling of this keyboard when typing.

This keyboard not only has a great color, but also makes typing very comfortable, and it will feel like you are typing on an actual laptop.

It's a shame Microsoft saw fit to charge extra for a peripheral that's pretty much required. I'd say its a scam if it weren't so awesome.

Microsoft really did this right, I enjoy the keyboard and how it attaches to the surface pro 3. The keys feel great to type on. Home run.

Like I said I'm diggin the red keyboard and the performance is great, the mouse pad is a little cumbersome but nothing to really gripe about.

he loves it! as an older person who is more comfortable with a keyboard in lieu of touchscreen, this detachable keyboard is a perfect add on.

Really like the key board and the mouse pad works well also. Have to admit that I don't type very much, but when I do it seems to work good.

Easy to attach, size, LOVE the back lit keyboard. Guess the only issue is it is thin which is good but also a bit hard to type on because the keys aren't very deep. Do love it though.

Love the type cover for Surface Pro 3. No complaints. Works as well as any Logitech or other cover for iPads. Even the track pad is great.

I bought this for my son and it is easy for him to use. Connects to the laptop easily and easy to switch back and forth to tablet mode.

If you get the surface pro 3 without a keyboard.. You're lame. This works amazingly and it is so nice, it really feels like a keyboard.

I really like the size and the backlight works great even in the dark. The touchpad was a little jittery when left clicking but it must have gotten smarter or I've gotten better.

Love the purple color! Keyboard is very responsive, attaches and detaches very quickly and is light weight. Does just what I need it to do!

It clicks right into the computer. I love it! The only bad thing is that it is hard to click if the keyboard is not on something flat.

The only reason that this is not getting 5 stars is because you have to pay so much extra on top of an expensive Surface Pro. But with that comment aside, the key board works great!
