I love the ease of use, its very responsive and the mouse works very well.

Use it for school and made back pack so much lighter (than old laptop).

This keyboard is great for casual use. It will work with Surface Pro 1.

This item should've been included with the Surface Pro 3 that I bought. It's not an accessory, it's needed. It works Ok as a cover...only so/so as a keyboard. Maybe I have high expectations because I'm used to a real keyboard with a number keypad but I do have a few basic expectations: 1. I am used to typing without always looking down at the keyboard. I have to look down at the touchpad when using it because i cannot tell which button I'm clicking...some tactile or visual cue to know when I'm crossing the midline would be nice. 2. I'm using the hunt-and-peck onscreen keyboard to type this because the Type Cover seems to cause the cursor to jump around at random while typing so that if you are typing a sentence, fast, you might end up typing some words in the middle of other words in the sentence. 3. This one is minor but when connecting the keyboard, the first set of magnets connect, then the keyboard wraps up, and the second set of magnets engage so that the keyboard is now at an angle; the wrapped portion of the keyboard now blocks part of the non-active portion of the screen so my fat fingers cannot easily touch an active icon on the Task Bar...I have to use the pen. So overall,the Surface Pro 3 needs the Type Cover keyboard but the keyboard part needs improvement.

Purchased the black keyboard to go along with the Surface Pro 3. It attaches very well and do not worry about it coming off. Provides great protection to the screen when closed and carrying. Lighted keyboard when needed. The touchpad is not as sensitive as it needs to be but have not had any problems.

Love the portability and slimness of it. Would recommend this purchase.

I started with the protection-only cover but found this type cover to be the accessory that I really like.
