It is able to connect to my surface pro 3 quickly, with no problem connecting (since it is not connecting via Bluetooth). I have been using it very extensively for 3 and 1/2 years now. It's design is nice and the feeling of it is good. Due to my extensive usage, you can see some the keys where you have typed the most.

Good screen cover, OK for typing

Perhaps it's just because I have big hands, but I have difficulty adjusting to the size of the keys, so try it out in the store before you buy. Additionally, the keys will be very unsatisfying to any fans of the IBM model M keyboard. As a simple screen protector, this product is great.
