For how thin this cover is, the keys have descent stroke, similar to most laptop keyboards. Touch pad is incredibly usable, perfect in legacy mode. The cover is really rigid and doesn't flex much when typing. Backlit keys are awesome... How did they fit everything in this thin cover????

This keyboard is a great accessory for you surface 3. It's thin, light weight and also works as a screen cover for your surface when it's folded. It also has a place to put your pen.

Great product and service, like it better then the air mac I had.

It was a nice keyboard but i had to return it. The picture shows the pen with it and thats why i got it but when i recieved it there was no pen. I called and asked why it wasnt there they stated it doesnt come with it you have to purchase seperatly other than that it was fine.

If you are buying the Surface Pro 3, this keyboard is a must. You can use the on screen keyboard for a lot of things but the ability to snap the keyboard on and off in seconds sets the SP apart from other 2 in 1's. It also makes a great cover to protect the screen when not in use.

I love my keyboard with the Surface Pro 3. I have used it on several times and find it a good alternative to the on screen keyboard. Pros: Gives you a physical keyboard. Cons: Magnetic attachment, may disconnect unexpectedly. Pay attention if you are mobile and the keyboard is attached.

Very thin, slick, wireless keyboard. Problem is it feels a little too sensitive, there is not much added protection to the Surface with this. Great features and design, just hoped there is a more reinforced version for it. Microsoft tried to improve the design by making it slim instead of durable. Hope they make an Otterbox soon for the Surface.

The keys have a very mechanical feel, which I love, the track pad feels great, and the back light shines amazing. It also snaps to the Surface with ease. The only bad thing I have to say is that it is covered with this fabric that can get dirty quite easily if you aren't careful.

The keyboard attachment is pretty much an absolute necessity when you have the SP3. If it's not going to be included it would be nice if it was cheaper but I'm not writing a review on the cost but on functionality. It is pretty sturdy for a tablet keyboard/cover. Some times but very rarely the keyboard won't respond. I had to hit the key a few times for it to work. But rarely. It's wide enough, I don't feel cramped when typing. It has a good feel and the mouse pad is a huge improvement from that of the surface 2. I think that Microsoft could have done a better job on where they decided to put the "pen" but I have yet to lose track of it and its not very comfortable when in my pocket so it works. The color options for the cover is nice too but I would have liked to have seen a green one.

Essential to the surface. I personally prefer the Cyan color.

I love how easy it is to connect my tablet go this keyboard.

Does the Job but Overpriced! Don't like that the Stylus Holder is a Sticker attachment. The Touchpad on occasion left and right click seems to stick at certain angles (Tried a Few Type Covers, same result). Personally this should be included With the Surface for what you pay for it.

Pros: I love the design and the back light. Con: too pricey

Works great and is a necessary accessory for the Surface Pro 3. It adds to the usability when using it as more of a laptop and typing. Touchpad takes a little getting used to due to its smaller size than most other laptops, for when your trying to get those small icons and such.
