The type cover works great and connects easily. However, the protection I purchased did not benefit me at all. I'm upset about this because if you have kids, it's easily mishandled and not as rugged as you would think. The protection offered doesn't protect against popped keys and the snap in band to the pad cracked. Although it was handled roughly, I still had to buy a new one, this time without protection. I would have preferred to pay more upfront for a more durable keypad but was not offered an alternative. Beware and use care of this product.

Easily attaches and detaches from my Surface Pro 3 and does it's job as a keyboard. Works well, no problems so far. Really like the color too!

I love the functionality and convenience of this keyboard. The only downside is that it is light colored and had a felt-like outside that looks dirty very quickly, even when kept covered.

My only complaint is the material on the back on the keyboard. I wish it was not made with this fake suede/cloth material. It seems like it won't wear very well. Otherwise, it works great.

I purchased the purple keyboard and purple case to match the purple tip of the pen. It made for a nice color coordinating set for my daughter.

I love that I can take this off and put it back on the tablet with out making sure its in the right place. The magnetic placement is wonderful.

I'm on my second keyboard in 3 months. It's not bad but doesn't appear to hold up well. I think the price is a little high for what it does.

the reviews one downgrade is that it doesn't come with a stylus holder, but to our surprise it is now part of the product. great job Microsoft!

Love the Type cove for my Surface Pro and would definitely recommend Best Buy to all my friends. They were very professional and courteous.

It's light, magnetic, clicks right to the unit, has a great feel, and it's very responsive. I will note that my first keyboard actually had a problem with the mouse pad. I returned it within 14 days, but picked up the extended warranty for pennies on the dollar... well worth it for anything stupid I might do with it. At $129.00, you'll want to get this protection too.

Great keyboard/mouse combo that magnetically snaps to the surface pro 3. I changed the registry settings to get rid of the left/right button area in the bottom left/right of the touchpad. Now it performs just like a macbook touchpad. The problem is really the price on this item... It's just too expensive when it really should just be included in the tablet purchase.

I purchased this keyboard to go with my new Surface Pro 3 and my first impressions were positive until I began to use it daily. Unfortunately, my biggest annoyance with the key board was when it was not laying on a flat surface. It didn't feel solid to do the typing I do daily. When I laid it flat on a desk, it worked great but on my lap or when it was raised with the magnet on the tablet, it felt flimsy. Sadly, I ended up returning the Surface Pro 3 and exchanged it for the newly released MacBook which was the same price as the SP3.

This surface is turned full laptop with the keyboard, well worth it. The fabric finish is a nice touch and is more durable than I anticipated.

Pretty satisfied w/my purchase. Having a hard time learning windows 8. Like the size and how light it is.

Combined with the Surface Pro 3 tablet, it's makes a nice transition to a laptop equivalent. The keyboard really does attach and detach quickly and easily with small magnets. You can feel the keys as you are typing so it's pretty easy to note typing errors as you go, but my fingers feel a little cramped compared to a regular keyboard. Still, not bad for something lightweight and portable. It would be nice if there could be a number pad somehow.

It's responsive, locks in and out of place quickly and easily. The pictures shoes a loop for the pen. That isn't on the keyboard. There is no where to store the pen but in your pocket.

I like that this attachable keyboard is available in my favorite color and I like the feel of the keys. It stays attached really well. My only gripe is that the pad is very sensitive.
