Magnetic cover (with Pen) is easy to use, and the keyboard helps to have on the SurfacePro when you're writing long documents.

it fits nicely..I wish it had a slot for the pen on the side of it so it doesn't awkwardly sit there but keyboard is well made...a tad bit expensive in my opinion though

The keyboard is great. It gives you the responsiveness of other keyboards in a super thin form factor.. I can type on my lap without problem. The only thing that bothers me is the cheap way the stylus holder is attached to the keyboard. It comes separate from the keyboard and has a sticky back. You then attack the holder on the back of the keyboard. There are no markings indicating where to attach it and you only get one shot. I feel like I am going to lose my stylus, which is not a cheap item to replace.

The keyboard is a must accessory for the Surface Pro 3 if you need to type documents. It folds up nicely and comes apart easily!

I really like the magnet connection for this keyboard. Makes it for easy to attach and remove. Keyboard and mouse pad work well.

I really use my cover a lot. I love the backlit keys! I also like the trackpad, it is great that it actually works like a mouse and can right or left click. It is very user friendly. I use it on my lap a lot... and it would be nice to be a little sturdier at the end next to the trackpad. Sometimes, if I have been using it on my lap for extended periods, it will effect the track pad right clicking. Might be just me that has that issue, but it has been used and is packed around in my purse everywhere I go.

comes off and goes on easly , and can be fliped around for a nice surface on back. The key board is back light. a nice feature

This keyboard not only looks amazing, but works great. It is very easy to snap on and the back lite is a very big added bonus.

I like it, I like the size of it, its user friendly, it tends to catch a lot of dust or dirt, but comes off with no problems.

Pros- 1. Comfortable and accurate typing. 2. Vastly improved touchpad. 3. Backlit keyboard 4. Useful shortcut keys. Cons- 1. Overpriced. 2. Cheap material showing wear and tear. I purchased a Surface Type Cover 3 along with my Surface Pro 3 the day it came out. So far I have enjoyed the keyboard and it has proven to be a very good upgrade over the Type Cover 2 from last year. The keyboard retains most of the good quality from the Type Cover 2 while fixing a lot of the issues that plagued it.

Keyboard is great and serves as a cover for the screen when not in use. It attaches and detaches easily. Typing is great.

This is a bigger, better version of the keyboard and trackpad combination originally designed for the Surface Pro 2, but now obviously for the Surface Pro 3. The trackpad is no longer a felt-like material, but now slick and smooth, enhancing ease-of-use, and also is "clicky," so you better know when you're press a mouse button. It's still not as good as an external trackball or mouse (none of them are in my opinion), but an improvement is an improvement. The only thing I didn't care for is that I had to stick the pen loop on myself (and while it doesn't exactly need exhaustive instructions, I would have preferred better documentation to make sure I was placing it in the right spot). While the pen loop has adhesive (sticker) on it, I'd much prefer the pen loop to already be attached. While I can understand Microsoft not wanting to do this so the user has flexibility with placement (if they want it on there at all), I'm concerned about how well this will remain in place after heavy use. We'll see. If the pen loop is in no way a concern for you, add back the last star.

Love the color, easy to handle and snap to the Surface Pro 3. The keys are very easy to type on and spaced for easy access.

Great cover, easy to use and ability to type faster for longer documents. Cover is good for Surface to protect glass.

The price is the only thing that gets me. The keyboard works wonderfully though. It has backlighting, and very user friendly. Just snap it in, and start typing.
