nothing really new here. although my biggest complaint is it doesnt play nice with bluetooth!

DO NOT BUY, this is an over-priced OEM version of Windows. OEM licenses are non-transferable. This is a bait and switch by Best Buy.

This item is improperly described. The item is an OEM version. Do not be mislead.

Tried to upgrade from my win 7 desktop and for some reason the Win Pro 10 would not finish the install even after talking with MS so went another route and returned the software.

Don’t buy this! This software is a OEM version that says it should only be sold with a new computer and does not come with Microsoft support. You can buy the same OEM version for around $30.00 dollars on the net. I paid full price because I thought this was a retail version of Windows 10.

Neither key worked on upgrades from Windows 10 Home. Both items were sealed and secure. And I have 2 more being delivered today. Guess I will be trying to return all 4. Haven't had a problem with these yet: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/windows-10-pro-english-windows/6390389.p?skuId=6390389

Since BestBuy won't put it in their product description, I'll sum up the difference between the versions. ------------------------------- System Builder Version ------------------------------- Once you install Windows, the license is tied to your motherboard, and cannot be installed on another PC. You also cannot upgrade your PC (if it involves changing the motherboard). ------------------- Retail Version ------------------- You can install it on any PC, as long as it's 1 PC at a time.

When I bought it I had issue with the product key and I called Microsoft and I had to get another new product key but it took all most two weeks to get a new one

Giving this 5 stars as a warning a few may see, I spoke to a person through the live chat about this product, and they did say its a retail version. However do not be fooled by the price as this is an OEM version! I found another version for a much higher price, essentially the same price as Microsoft that they call the English version of this. Which from the reviews I read, and going off the rep, I believe is the retail version he was referring to. For anyone like me that may be confused by what OEM means, it basically means its a copy best buy produced. With a license that cannot be transferred if you change mother boards at any point in time. As it will invalidate the license, and force you to either buy a proper retail version that does allow you to transfer to new motherboards. With the other option being to buy another OEM version which is a waste of money in my opinion. So in essence if you are building a computer, do not buy this version as it will be a major waste of money when compared to buying the retail version off of Microsoft. With the other option being the supposed "retail" version, this honestly has me doubting best buy. Given they aren't being forward when compared to others that this version is an OEM. Which should in theory allow you to transfer to other motherboards.

For the price, I thought this was going to be a pretty good deal on the full Retail version of Windows 10 Pro ($30 off the MSRP of $199). Instead, it turns out this was the OEM System Builder version of Windows 10 Pro, which means it's definitely priced high. It's also disappointing that even after going back and double-checking, I don't see anywhere in the product description that it mentions this is an OEM System Builder version. I called customer service they said it would over 3 weeks to get the correct one out. I return to store to find out they only sell OEM so i would have waited 3 weeks to get the exact same thing. Would be nice if they would specify so their own people would know.

what came in the mail was the real version of windows 10 pro. one disc along with serial number.

I bought this software from Best Buy because I believe them to be reputable. When the package arrived, everything on the packaging and the DVD itself said it was Windows 10 Pro. So I opened the unsealed package to install Windows 10 Pro but once it was in my DVD drive, it turned out to actually be Windows Home. This was not my fault and it was not a case of buyer's remorse, however, Best Buy refused to refund my money because I believed what was printed on the packaging and the DVD and unsealed the software.

By far the best OS Windows has developed. Its memory usage has made it a very stable OS.

I picked up my order about 5 hours ago and I am trying to install in on a brand new Dell laptop and the key is not working. It says to try another one. For $169.00, I should not be having issues with the key. It also says the sticker is not a COA. Does that mean it is bootlegged and that's why it won't work. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase and will be calling tomorrow.

Beware this is an OEM version even though nowhere in the description does it state this.
