Despite spending multiple hours searching online and implementing several procedures to overcome the many hurdles, I was unable to upgrade the PC. Looking back I should have downloaded the free "trial" version from Microsoft and tried to upgrade before I purchased the retail version. Unfortunately I can not return the software and I am stuck with it.

The first time I turned my pc on, windows installed and did its thing. everything was fine, right? well, i eventually turned my pc off and had it off for the rest of the night. Whenever I went to turn it on the night after, it had somehow changed itself to Windows 10, instead of 11 (only issue with that is, I could not press the home button or use the search bar on the taskbar). I did eventually get it fixed after a little bit of a hassle
