I tend to hang on to versions of windows as long as possible, and they weren't making it easy with my old windows 8.1 install. A new graphics card that was incompatible with 8.1 finally forced me to get Windows 11, and it's not bad.

All in all it's still Windows.

I wish microsoft wouldnt push the internet browser on you as hard as large hairy men push themselves on me. Using the latest version is the most protection from bad actors (usually). Win 11 is harder to use than Win10 (like GFX settings, for example). This is why many users still prefer Win10. It was like Microsoft tried to be more MacOS like, but missed badly.
