It will be the first app you see every time you open the Windows Store and the installation happens very quickly. You don't have to reinstall your desktop applications or your Windows Store apps, and all your files are still there (as are libraries and the icons pinned to your taskbar.

Windows 8.1 is pretty good...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Windows 8.1 is not bad at all, took awhile to get used to and too learn the ins and outs of the operating system, but the price is ridiculous, seriously... People usually complain how apple is expensive, at least there last few versions of OSX have been free or at least like 30.00$ I think Microsoft needs to rethink that price tag, but overall it's good!

Easy to use OS

It's really simple to use and I've adapted to the new start menu quickly.

Windows 8.1 is not as difficult as I thought.

Only to hear from the employee that Microsoft won't be selling windows 7 here any longer and soon not even on their website.
