setup was not very easy

NIce polished OS, after getting used to it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this version of windows 8, cause it had all the newest features, plus I already own a copy of Windows Office 97 that works fine.(so i didnt feel the need to upgrade to pro) After getting used to the new features such as multiple "desktops" and new left and right screen activated control buttons and app navigation, it starts feeling easy and smarter. The inclusions of apps feels normal, as I have an iPhone and iPad, and appreciate the effort on Microsoft part to compete. So far Ive no issues whatsoever with the software, and viruses seem to be a thing of the past (for now). I would highly recommend this version of windows to anyone looking for more advanced and modern ways to interact with your PC.

Big improvement over Vista

Glad we went to 8.1 though because it is much easier to use, like a cell phone, which is the point. I would recommend to bit the bullet and upgrade.
