Even Microsoft admits they blew it with this one. The only reason I purchased this feces is because I use quicken for windows PC version on my Mac. I say it's the second worse because 8.0 was worse. Even windows Vista and Windows Millenium were superior to this junk. I'd give it less then 1 star but it wasn't a choice. Just try and connect to a different network without jumping thru hoops. Aargh!!! I don't have enough time to vent or begin all the reasons this windows OS s*cks. Btw not only a hater but a former windows fanboy until 8.0 came out. Microsoft lost me to Apple.

The price is fair and the installation is easy with the cd included in the package

Standard os has the tablet feel personally I like 7 better but the wife likes it.

We like the new features of windows 8. It's easy to use and works well for home use

Microsoft is pretty sure of what you want to do next and tries to anticipate your every move. But, you know - that's just not what I had in mind. Every time I want to save a file, MicroSoft thinks I should be saving it in the Microsoft SkyDrive. Sorry - not interested. so it takes an extra click every time to get past the sales pitch. I can reorganize my tiles on the start screen, but I can't make the programs I want two squares wide. Only MicroSoft products get to be two squares. Mumble grumble. The next question is: "Would I recommend this to a friend. As if we had much choice.

I enjoy windows 8.1. Its easy to use. This product works similar to windows xp.

Got this for my computer not a bed price for this item

Works so much better than Windows 7, now it update all of my other computers.

Web ex play backs not working with windows 8.1 yet. Titles are still strange for desktop.

It was unable to run on my HP laptop(8GB, i5, 500GB, 64bit) once it installed. Before I buy this I checked the compatibility in MS provided site and report was good. I was able to installed it successfully, but after I update windows and reboot, it didn't load windows properly. I got MS support and after troubleshooting abt 3 hrs they said it may be an issue with HD and take to a local tech. I couldn't try it after that. However final result was I couldn't get it up and running. Dnt no where the exact issue was. So I can't say yes or not for next question.

I bought this all to upgrade my friends PC for Christmas. So far so good.

Bought a new Apple computer, running this with Parrelles. Works great.

Easy to install, a must for school projects and classroom assignments.

The upgrade has caused me to spend hours upon hours trying to get back functionality that the installation wiped out. One example among many, my DVD player/burner became totally dysfunctional. Another, hyperlinks in emails would not work, etc.. It has put me at least two months behind in my work. The worst part of it is that Microsoft would not help and I still had to pay twice for the software, once for my laptop and again for my desktop. Thanks to help I received from Geek Squad, some of those problems have been resolved. No thanks to Microsoft.

Makes all the tools of windows and the ease of Apple at the same time

I am very please with the speed and capabilities that the Windows 8 has.

I love everything about Windows 8 but the issues I am having with Norton working with it. I have been having to download the beta Norton every week so that I have the coverage I need, It gets frustrating to say the least. However, the rest...The look, the feel, the whole interface is amazing.

The one that I can use for my network at home. It is so simple to use.
