She loves it, said it is much better than the other mouse she uses for an old laptop. My dad had to have one two.

No dongle needed

No problem connecting I did have to traverse some settings but other than that no issue. Compact and nice for travel. I do not like the mouse wheel it is hard plastic and really thin, but hey for a 15 dollar travel mouse what can I expect. Works the way it should.
