I am able to easily connect to a new laptop with no problem. Works on many surfaces like a knee, table, arm of a sofa.

If you have large hands i recommend not buying this product. Otherwise it works good and connects to my Macbook Pro through bluetooth, no USB port required.

All of my other mice (mouses) have a small receiver that you plug into the computer. This is much better. Works just as well as a plug-in mouse.
