The only downside would maybe the loudness of the clicking noise. But it isnt even that bad if I am being honest. I see other reviews stating the same thing. But it isnt too bad at all. Love this mouse!

Hard to find a mouse that clearly states that it will work with Android this one does. The only drawback is the feel. Plastic used is cheap feeling. Other than that it works great.

But this mouse doesn’t want to stay connected at all. I reset the settings, changed the batteries, read all the directions again, along with the community questions to search for an answer. I did find out that this seems to be a very common problem with this model....one that Microsoft never gave a solution for.

My only complaint (and it is a big one) is the wheel needs too much pressure to turn. So when I press down to turn it, it is a fine line between turning the wheel and pressing/clicking the wheel. Too often I want to turn it and instead it clicks into a mode I don't want. I'm getting use to it but... I expected way better than this from Microsoft... come on man!

Connected automatically, came with battery, did hold well in my bag. The wheel seems to work fine, movement is precise. Yes, there are better products at $100, but this one is the best deal for the money. Will get another one.
