I have installed and re-installed bluetooth drivers on my HP laptop and only really have a problem with -- this mouse -- never really a problem with anything else. It was shipped to me in an envelope and not a box -- maybe I got a dud! The mouse will disconnect at the weirdest intervals of leaving it alone -- and other times I can leave the laptop on for several hours and come back and grab the mouse -- and it is still working -- it makes no sense. Possibly had it's brains beat out if it since it was shipped to me in an envelop instead of a box. Mine has a pairing button on the bottom - center - just below the battery door. -- In my model's instructions -- it says to press it 3 seconds to place into pairing mode -- or -- to tap for 1 second to turn OFF/ON. Even when doing this -- the behavior is unpredictable -- it either works or does not. At least I know how to turn it on and off and save the battery. A plus is I am within the standard 14 day return -- but actually qualified for the Holiday return period -- so I will definitely get this replaced with another brand or refunded! It naturally went on sale $10 cheaper after I bought it -- LOL -- makes me want to try another -- but I read comments similar to mine before posting -- so I will probably get over the Forest Camo -- Microsoft -- "Special Edition" -- Bluetooth Mouse.

Major problem with this mouse is, it loses connection with the computer, so you need to turn on & off which is really annoying. Setup is really simple and quick. It might be smaller for people with big hands.

There's no way to scroll left to right and it doesn't work on glass surfaces unless you have a mousepad. I'm used to Apple's mouse (much more expensive) that scrolls in every direction and works without a mousepad.
