Comes with a battery and was super easy to connect to my surface laptop. I also tried the mouse with my chromebook and it works perfectly on that too. After setting it up, it connects automatically after turning on. Works on many different surfaces.

Just turn on your Bluetooth and switch on the mouse and it will pair with your device. Next time, it will automatically connect within a second to your device when you turn that on.

My wife wishes the clicking sound could be modified, but she loves the mouse, its simplicity, and its color. Kudos to Best Buy; mine came from the close-by Best Buy, but hers came from the middle of the country...Thank you Best Buy. Sorry about the Covid-19 furloughs!

I build and/or repair personal family computers, and I keep forgetting to remove the dongle after completion. I now have several mice waiting for dongle's to be returned.

Although I ultimately exchanged this mouse for the MS MS Modern Mobile Mouse because of it's more compact design. Either one has an excellent blue tooth implementation - and they are very quiet.
