    I have been using computers since 1995 and have always used wired keyboards and mouse. Now I am using Microsoft wireless 800 and really appreciate the wireless features. My only regret is that I didn't start using it sooner. The operating system in this computer is Vista and I plugged in the USB unit and the keyboard and mouse worked immediately. CharlieB
