Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Wireless Desktop 800 Keyboard and Optical Mouse, frequently praising its ease of use, keyboard quality, and value for the price. Many appreciate the wireless functionality and find the size and weight convenient. While some users noted the absence of a caps lock indicator and occasional lag, these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback.

There is nothing good to say about this keyboard and mouse. I needed another wireless keyboard and mouse for the house. I regret this purchase. It is just a basic keyboard and mouse. I'm off to find a better one.

I naught this keyboard so that I could use the tv as a monitor and have the keyboard on the coffee table. It works ok but it doesn't have the best range and I've had to move it closer a couple of times so it would pick up.

A good product. I will go back to Best Buy and see what other key board they have to offer. At the time I bought this one I wasn't sure that the key board was my problem now that I know I will look for a better product.

The rage of keyboard is very poor and you always have to sit in line of sight for keyboard to work. I dont get range for keyboard after 5-6 feet. Mouse works flawless. pathetic product.

Great combo, but a bit cheap in terms of materials and design. That being said, that's exactly why I bought it. Inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do. No complaints.

Basic wireless keyboard. Does it job for what it cost so I really can not complain. Wish it was a little bit smaller but I could always get that at a higher price.

This was a really good price, but now I know why. It works great, but the key letters are rubbing off. I don't need them, but it's very unsightly.

Gem of a keyboard mouse set

This is a nice set! It’s a plug-and-play and I had it going from opening the box to typing within 15 minutes. There is no problem with the range; I’ve used it anywhere from as close to 3’ and as far as 10’ without a missed key when typing or lack of mouse response. I have the dongle plugged into a 3’ USB extension in the back of my desktop and lying on the floor. I sat on my recliner with the dongle about 4' away to my left, the mouse on my right on a lamp table so the signal had to pass thru the arm of the recliner, my entire body, the other recliner arm and then to the dongle – no problem at all. The kb is a nice compact size yet still has the heft so it doesn't feell 'cheap', and the white bottom half gives it a handsome, not-quite-the-usual-old-keyboard look. The keys are quiet and have a good feel. The scrunching of the function keys will take a bit getting used to but it seems that’s the new trend in kb’s from all makers. One negative is the lack of any indications on caps/number locks – no lights on the kb and it doesn’t give a little pop-up indicator on the monitor. The mouse is a basic 3 button and nothing special. The buttons are silent and responsive. The wheel rolls with small silent clicks and are adjustable from 1-100 lines. The wheel also has a left click function that allows it to freely scroll with rolling the wheel – I’m still figuring that out, as well as if it will do other things. The mouse works with only one batt in either side so that, along with being able to turn it off, could be a slight savings overall – depending on the true batt life. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles you might want or expect from a ‘deluxe’ keyboard but it doesn’t claim to be that. It’s just a plain, no-frills set that gets the job done – and in my opinion it does it quite well. If you’re looking for a good kb/mouse combo at a reasonable price – I found it for less than $20 - you can’t go wrong with this set.

Totally just paying for the name on this one. This keyboard didn't even sit on my desk flat. Very cheap plastic feel and hard keys.

I didn't notice before I purchased, maybe because they didn't have a display model, but the top row of keys is very small. The ESC very is very hard to press, and I use the ESC key a lot, so very annoying. Everything else is good, but since this is a major issue for me, I dropped down to 2 stars, otherwise 4... mouse isn't great, but good for price.
