Not simple to use

This probably works just fine for someone looking to show off vacation photos or, mirror their Microsoft Word document, but the latency with audio/video streaming is abysmal. It's worth the inconvenience of running HDMI cable across the room to make sure that I don't lose 1/3 of my video in the streaming process.

I started a 2nd job that I could work from home & it required me to use 2 monitors (my laptop & my TV as the 2nd monitor). When the device was plugged in, it worked successfully for ~20mins and then it would stop working & when I would try to reconnect it would act as if it was "loading" indefinitely...like I literally waited 45mins one of the many times this occurred. At the suggestion of the store associate when I called to report an issue w/the product they recommended I unplug the cord from my tv and wait a minute before plugging it back in. I did that and it didn't work until perhaps the 7th+ attempt. However, I would commence working and then got disconnected at least 15+ times in an 8hr shift. I took the product back for a full refund to Best Buy

They worked for about two months and then I began having connection issues where they would just randomly drop the signal. I would not recommend using these in any sort of presentation mode where a reliable connection is important.
