Posted .Hi there,
Thanks for letting us know. We know compatibility can get a little frustrating. To clarify, the Wireless Display Adapter uses Miracast® technology and can only be used with Mircast compatible products.
The device is currently compatible with all Miracast enabled Windows 8.1 and later tablets/laptops/phones and Android devices with 4.2.1 and later.
Hope this helps,
Amanda

Too bad it doesn't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter only stays connected 1 out of 50 attempts to connect. I got a lucky connection and updated the firmware. The update didn't improve reliability at all. Online forums with answers from Microsoft are completely useless with only basic troubleshooting steps that didn't work for me or the original posters.

What's the opposite of it just works?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It rarely works, and when it does it's very poor quality. It also randomly turns off. Not only that it would interfer if you use the same band wifi for your computers internet. Being in a hotel sometimes you dont' have a choice of wifi band.
