The tracking is solid and the mouse can be used on a variety of surfaces, batteries last a very long time, and the range is pretty decent. At about 25-30 feet the signal breaks a little, but it can still be used for clicking through a presentation. Plus, they are pretty inexpensive. I have several.

I've had units with multiple buttons and found I never used them; only the right-mouse menu, left click and scrolling wheel. This is a great size for my hand and was immediately recognized by the computer. Really like the low profile USB drive that allows it to be left in the laptop when packed up. My only complaint is storage of the drive is in the battery case IF you remove it from the laptop. In that case, I have to drop the battery to get it out of the compartment. The answer, of course. is to just leave the drive plugged in if you have enough USB drives. Overall, very happy.
