You do not need a mouse pad to use this mouse. There is not one surface yet that I have tried it on that has not worked.

Good mouse for value. Good range. Was using it for my media center that is connected to my flat screen in the living room. Didn't have issues with battery life either.

Got this mouse on a GREAT deal. I use a MacBook so I don't believe all of the features of the mouse are working. However, it looks pretty good and gets the job done. Clicking the scroll wheel does nothing, normally it'd drag the page down or something.

I like the no cord needed I have one on my lap top and one on my desk top. When I have to travel I just put mouse in bag and go. No cord to contend with.
