I keep this in my book bag to use with my laptop. It is a typical mouse, nothing fancy, but the battery lasts a long time and it works on every surface that I've tried.

This wireless mouse works very well for me. I bought it as a deal of the day for half of its normal price. I mainly use it with my laptop. I rarely use my laptop because most of the time I am on my PC or tablet. When I have used this Microsoft wireless mouse, it has performed quite well with no problems whatsoever. I have no regrets for my purchase and would recommend this mouse to anyone that is looking for a reliable inexpensive wireless mouse.

Bought this to replace a M570 trackball that's been replaced twice already, they don't hold up at all, though the ergonomics of them is the best. I like that this one has a configurable side button that I can use for "back" - really got used to that on the M570. It's a little small and pretty light, but works pretty well, though because it's so light, it can be a little fussy when clicking the scroll wheel (since even a really small movement can make the click not work). But for the price, it's really pretty good. I just hope it holds up for longer than the much more expensive Logitech stuff.
