No wires is great, battery has good life and I love the on and off switch.

Have tried wireless mice in the past but was unhappy with them, just did not work very well. I have stuck with my wired mouse for years until it finally died. I decided to give wireless a try once again. I couldn't be happier with this product. Works great, good battery life, like the on off switch, don't have to install the receiver in the mouse to turn it off. The really great thing is the nano receiver, I can leave it plugged into my laptop even when carrying it in the laptop case. Installed the software and had mouse working within a couple of minutes. Works on every surface I have tried it on and have used it probably 15 feet from laptop while hooked to tv. I have only had this for about 3 months but so far so good.

This mouse is very comfortable and tracks very well across nearly all surfaces. Great battery life.

Having had several wireless mice, i have to say i LOVE this one. BEST feature is the small USB reciever that is so short you can leave it plugged in all the time - even in a tight briefcase. (It does have the expected holder in the mouse but i never use it) On/off switch is essential if you want to just leave the USB reciver in the laptop - a welcome feature. Even if left on a LOT (which i admit i do) the battery life is terrific. BEST feature for ME is the programmable left button. I made mine a magnifier that, combined with the wheel, can either change the size/shape of the magnifying window and/or the zoom level. ONLY shortcoming is MS's lack of instructions on HOW to program the features. If you didnt know to dig and go into the software (find the menu), you would never know what it could do.

This mouse is an excellent value. I have had many Logitech mouse's' but I prefer the durability, feel and ease of use of the MS mouse. It's portable and compact to pack up on trips. It has a surprisingly comfortable ergonomic fit with it's engineered shape and the soft rubber sides. It's accurate and easy to use. The purple and black color with gold dots really distinguishes the mouse and happens to match my Asus - U56E, 15.6" Laptop - Platinum-Gold color. I wish I coud find another MS mouse close to the size with more function butons for FS games.

If you use mouse intensive apps, then this mouse is a must have for laptop road warriors, My son took my first one in place of his Logitec -- we swapped. I missed this mouse so much I had to go and buy a second one...but I waited for it to go on sale. $35 is a bit much for a wireless mouse, but $20 is a great deal. Keep your eyes open, this device goes on sale a lot -- a great value at $20, okay at $35. I works great on most surfaces and the buttons and wheel have a great feel. I love the "click-less" wheel. Also love the left & right wheel clicks...a little secret I just found! Smaller that a "standard" mouse, but feels real comfortable, real fast. Must have!

i'v had this mouse since before the summer and i absolutly love it! its very comfortable, easy to use, love the USB storage compartment but i mainly just leavy it in my laptop, love the botton on it so you can go back to your previouse page, the scroll ball in quiet so you wont wake anyone up, the battery they give you with it is long lasting as a matter of fact i still have the battery in it from when i first got it! the clicking sound is pretty quiet! the light for the mouse on the bottom is LED and its kind of hidden so it wont blind you when you turn the mouse over its smooth moving! never had a problem with it! overall a great mouse for anything wither its for a laptop, desktop for you house, or anything else its a great mouse for anything that you want to use it for!

I bought this product and absolutely love it! It's nice looking, small and yet comfy, rolls smoothly, the back button is practical, the wheel is super soft (very valuable features if you navigate). The only little con is that the right & left buttons aren't as soft as I expected, but overall is a very nice mouse. It also works perfectly even when the receiver is in the back of you lap (this has been an issue in the past for other brand I had). This look is obviously for girls, so get it! You won't regret!

Hand fits perfectly on top. The cursor doesn’t fly all over the place. Easy to use. Easy to hook up.

It has a very quiet clicking noise. I also use a mouse pad with wrist resting on it, and the mouse size is very good. I could define many different tasks for all four keys. The software also lets me change the scrolling speed on both directions. The only thing that is annoying is the middle click that is hard to push and is noisy too. The software had some good feature in it too.

It's comfortable, has the wait of the battery which i like. The middle button moves very silently, and the click is sturdy. I ran the mouse over my keyboard and it worked perfectly too.Then i went out in the hallway and used it on my arm.This little guy is worth the money.Oh, and the feal of the diamond rubber caseing is way nice!

Bought this mouse while it was on sale; definitely worth it. I had to install X-mouse button control to customize the tilt wheel because the windows software lacked this feature. Otherwise this is a great mouse for the price

This is my second Microsoft wireless mouse and this one is MUCH better than the other. First the usb connector is barely noticeable. I was always getting the other one hooked on things. It also has a third button for the "back" function. The usb connector can be safely stored on the bottom of the mouse and it has an off button to save batter life.

Cheap mouse when you need one in an emergency. If you want a good mouse, get a better one.

Mouse is very comfortable and works well on most ordinary surfaces. I connected it to a desktop, however, and when I first plugged the receiver in the back of the PC (on the floor), the purformance was a little jerky. Works fine with the usb transmitter in front. I switched back to my old wired unit and realized how much better the MS4000 is.

This mouse works well, and mostly does what I need it to do. However, this mouse has a couple of things I don't like about it. First is that I have my computer below my desk, and the wireless won't pick up if I'm too far away from it (not smooth in moving mouse across the screen) and won't click if I need it to do so. The range isn't very good, only about a couple of feet, so this would be a terrific mouse if the range was better. Second, the side button is sometime difficult to deal with as it doesn't always do what I want. Overall, this is a pretty good mouse.

Liked it so much using it every day at work, purchased the same one for home. Very smooth wheel and control with long battery life.

I was looking for a laptop mouse to replace my Microsoft 8000. I did not use all the features so I looked for a cheaper version and found it on sale. It performs like it should. No complaints.

I've always owned Logitech peripheral devices and now I wonder if I've been missing out the whole time. I bought this because of the price and the looks to be quite honest. I also wanted the tiny USB as opposed to the larger ones that I tend to break off when plugged into my laptop. When I got it home, I found that it offered much more than looks/price. It really feels like a quality device. The texture along the sides is great. The finish is beautiful. Plug and play. Even the clicking functions feel like quality and are slightly muted. Really glad I picked this up!
