It's very difficult to find a tilt wheel mouse nowadays. In my opinion MS Comfort 5000 is the best wireless combo ever made. And the 4000 is very similar to the mouse that comes in that kit.

Meets needs for wireless mouse for college classes

Is everything i was looking for. Not too big or small.

Basic but very convient to have. Responsive buttons. The USB drive fits at the bottom so you don't lose it while travelling. A blinking red light will show when the battery needs to be replaced.

When a mouse comes along that you really like, it's like an extension of your hand. I had gone without a Microsoft 4000 for almost a year and - crazy as it sounds - now I feel like I am in control again. This mouse is like a security blanket for computing!

Used for business, this compact mouse meets all my needs. It easily swaps between my two laptops by simply moving the nano receiver from one to the other. It takes about 5 seconds and the mouse is up and running.... It has a good reaction time, good battery life and travels easily with a self storing nano receiver that slides into the base of the mouse.

I bought this mouse for my MacBook and like any normal mouse you scroll down and the page scrolls down as well, but with this mouse you scroll down and it scrolls up instead. It can be confusing at times but it’s nothing major, overall a great product.

I bought this to replace one that I misplaced. I like this mouse because it feels like a wired mouse in that the tracking is quick and precise. It is smaller and suited for travel, which is why I bought it, but it may be good for people with small hands.

This mouse is the best mouse on the market. The clicking is not obnoxiously loud and the mouse works perfectly on any surface. The mouse also lasts quite a long time so it's worth your investment.

Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 is a solid performer that I would recommend to anyone who needs a wireless mouse. It is wee built and works great.

This mouse is nice and compact. The wheel works well and it tracks smoothly and accurately. Installed the battery, plugged in the USB adapter and it was ready to go. No driver or software install needed.

This mouse seems to work well. The sides are smooth and it doesn't hurt your fingers. It sometimes seems to move a lot more than you anticipate. It froze once, so I just removed the USB device and plugged it back in and it was fine after that.

Works pretty well on a number of surfaces, haven't had any issues since using it! The option to put the USB connector into the back of the mouse when you are not using it is smart. Makes it easier to keep in a safe place when I don't want it in the computer.

Overall, very pleased. Glad I bought it in store versus on line, they come in different sizes and you have to get the one that fits your hand so go into the store to buy it, its hard to tell how big they are by looking at a screen. Very pleased, highly recommend this to others.

This has been my favorite mouse for years, and I had to have a fresh one upon the demise of the one I was using. I love the side button that returns you to your last page.

Ever have a page that extended off the screen? With this mouse, you can scroll sideways with a touch of the wheel. Neat idea and it works, but unfortunately it's quite a a bit slower compared to scrolling up and down. Otherwise, it does everything else fine and when you get used to the idea, the extra dimension works, too.

It is light and works better than the old one. Price okay.
