Hopefully as reliable as 3500

Great Product

My husband uses it every day and haven't had to change the battery. I love that the USB can stay plugged in all the time so it doesn't get misplaced. He also loves the color!

dependable connection

I was pleased to find that the mouse connected as soon as I plugged the dongle into my laptop. Since then, I have unplugged the dongle and plugged it back in several times, and each time the mouse has connected instantly. The only problem that I've had is that the connection sometimes becomes slow: the cursor still follows the movements of the mouse but moves more slowly across the screen. Fortunately, this problem does not happen frequently or randomly. It seems to occur only when my computer is performing an intensive task.

Do you hate the touch pads like I do?

To set up, plug into the USP port and you re done. Dont forget to use the on-off botton on the bottom to save your battery life.

BlueTrack technology makes it usable on nearly any surface from the couch cushion to even a polished table top. With it being a mobile mouse it feels slightly undersized but still fits a hand nicely. The mouse buttons feel durable and not like cheap plastic that you find with other cheaper brands. The scroll wheel is smooth and responsive. The USB receiver fits nicely into the mouse bottom when not in use.

Smooth and Compact!

I also was looking for a smooth scrolling wheel - not one that "clicks" or has indentations. The Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000 fit the bill perfectly. It is compact - well designed and built - has some heft to it and the scroll wheel is smooth as butter!
