The mouse set up was very easy (plug & play), as one would expect. The mouse is solidly constructed, with good hand-feel. The variety of textures used on the various surfaces that make it very comfortable. The unobtrusive USB adapter can be left in the laptop during transit as it is nearly flush with the side of the machine, however the bottom of the mouse also has a slot to hold the USB adapter, making transportation easy. The mouse smoothly tracks on a variety of surfaces (desktops, mouse pad, cloth, etc). Trackwheel is smooth, which might be offputting to people who prefer one that incrementally clicks.

I use the Microsoft 4000 mouse with my Surface Pro. Love the fact the usb wireless transmitter is small and doesn't get in the way. Size of mouse is great, large enough to manipulate without being oversized. Always works like a charm. I hope Microsoft never stops making this handy little fella!

I love the how quickly the mouse moves around the screen (all you need is a gentle touch of the mouse) and software was uploaded on my computer.

Buying a simple wireless mouse. Salesperson helped me out and suggested Logitech were pretty good. When I told her I had a previous wireless mouse that had a button to bring you to a previous page she brought me to the Microsoft mouse. Bought this one and it saves me a lot time to move back and forth from page to page.

Works very well, Battery seems to last a long time. I would buy another one.

Work as expected. I like the design, which includes appropriate battery compartment, easy to use secure space for the mini link, and ON/OFF switch. Also, I like the very useful extra button, specially for magnification function. Keep in mind, to use it as magnifier you need to reprogram it and use with Windows 7 or 8.

For the price I can't complain at all. I purchased this when it was 14.99. I use this with my Surface Pro 2 because the touchpad on the Type Cover is not great at all. This game assists me with daily browsing and also with my little bit of gaming that I do. It has 3 buttons and a mouse wheel button. So plenty for the simple gaming. I would recommend something with more if you are a serious gamer. The size of it is smaller because it is a mobile mouse. I have very large hands and find this mouse still to be very comfortable. The bluetek technology... whatever it is called is also Great! I am able to use this mouse on virtually any surface and it is accurate. I have a shaggy carpet and it works on that like a champ. Very satisfied!

This mouse works fine and is wireless so it is convenient not having the cord

This was my first cordless mouse, so I researched Best Buy's site to get a sense of popular models. I recommend testing them at a local store to get a feel for them, since they're all different. This particular mouse had a smooth middle wheel and felt right on my palm. I've had it for a month and love it.
