Don’t understand it’s purpose

This Microsoft product does not tell you on the box that the computer must be Miracast ready. So I had to make a 2 hour round trip to return it; at least I got my money back. I am trying other products and do not have a final disposition yet.

This product is no better than google cast.

No WIFI Needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm one of the few that still have the Verizon unlimited unthrottled data plan with 2000 minutes of talk time. This is the only internet I ever use, their 4g. I don't have WIFI so ChromeCast and Amazon Fire Stick you can't setup as you can't cast and use your hotspot at the same time. The Roku 3 you can but it but for some reason it keeps cutting out when casting. This is where the Microsoft adapter Excels. It casts all my shows perfectly. I now have 3 of them, one on each TV.
