The card was redeemable within the first hour of purchase on the same day of said purchase.
My only immediate concern...would be using the card information to track the point of origin in the card's use.
Other than that...there is the 'helpful availability' for Those Whom find it difficult to acquire These-or any gift cards-within Their immediate Area of availability.
Or to acquire the means to get one These gift cards by any other way that is not costly.
Such as 'Those Places' that take advantage of 'Supply and Demand' and be the only immediate area supplying hard copy (similar to lotto scratchers) gift cards and might charge a $5 fee on top of tax for purchase of $25 or higher gift cards. $25 gift cards being the smallest quantity for game console gift cards...making that a 20% store deductable on top of state tax...where other gift cards-not game console gift cards-might be as low as $10-$15 and higher.
I can not honestly say that i would reccomend this, because 'Individual Circumstances Will Vary.'
Each person might have a means of acquiring These game console gift cards that is more appropriate for Them as an individual...so this option might not be preferred for someone whom has better options or personal reasons to avoid having Their personal identyfiable information tracked...and possibly sold to inevitably be harassed in one way or another.
Not that i am saying that is the end result of buying Game Console gift cards from best buy.
