Its digital currency, delivered digitally. Convenience at its best. Although, there are times that it may take awhile (I have had 30-60 minutes waits on two occasions) to get your code. Uncertain the reason for this, but most of the time it has been with 5 minutes

Easy to use and easy to get a digital gift if you are in the hurry

Adding credit to your account so its available for you later, especially from Sep-March when there's multiple games per month can be very helpful. Also if you're a member of gamepass rewards you get points for using gift cards as payments just as you would for spending dollars. Thry also make a great gift for that Xbox gamer you know and everyone should own one even if they a ps5. Now if only we could get steam cards digitally
