I always get the gift cards for added security. This card provides protection from having your credit/debt card online with all of the video game consoles being hacked, I feel safer having a gift card number so I don't have to worry about that.

If you just want to add a certain amount to your Xbox Live account but don't want to use the Credit or PayPal options on the console itself or just need to give a gift or allowance to another person. Then this just might be what your looking for.

I bought this to purchase games through the xbox store would make it easier for son to own games than actual physical games as they are obsolete to own physical games nowadays and don't have to worry about damaging actual game disc.

How can you go wrong with a gift card? I actually had to get this because the Xbox my god child purchased doesn’t take discs, so this gives him the chance to purchase and download any game

Great option if your kid wants to buy DLC, but you don't want to give them your credit card.

These cards are great as gifts or for yourself!! There is SO much content now through Xbox Live aside from Games (TV, Movies, Music). One the code on the back of the card is entered - the funds are added to your account & you're all set !!!

The kids both like XBOX and I know next to nothing about all the games out there. Much easier to let them choose what the want as opposed to buying the wrong thing and having to return it.

I like this gift card however most games cost $10 to $20 more nowadays. They should make a gift card that specifically targets the amount of a full game because with this value your still shorting the person your giving the gift to.

I like to buy my xbox live currency thru Best Buy as not only do I get the gift cards but I accumulate points for rewards through the Best Buy program and I also am a member of the gamer's club so it is a win-win situation all around.

Perfect gift for my son who is constantly asking for new games. Getting a Xbox card is perfect because it saves me from running to the store to pick up the new game. He can now just download it when he sees one he likes.
