It's a subscription, nothing fancy about it. However I do prefer these shorter terms subs because I don't play on Xbox very often so instead of buying annual membership where about 6 months of it won't even be used, I rather have these when they go on sale at 50% off and use them when I have the need to use.

The Harriman NY store definitely did right by me. I had ordered the 3 month Gold XBox Live for I think it was $10(cyber Monday deal). Max was 3 of them. I ordered the 3(9 months total). They apparently oversold them so they gave me a 12 month membership for the same $30 I paid for the 3 3 month memberships.

You need this to play all your favorite games online and play with friends and gold games they give you each month is a plus too

My daughter loves that she can play online with her friends and that she is given special access to certain games and programs with her subscription. It allows her to sample games before committing to buying the game. Wish it was a little less expensive and that they offered it for longer than 3 month increments.

...to own an xbox one. I'm not a fan of some of the interfaces for XBOX Live, but having played both the PS4 and XOne extensively, there can be no doubt that xbox live is a much more stable platform. I enjoy the interface of the PS4 much more than xbox one, but the quality of online play for Microsoft is unmatched.

Bought this Live membership for my daughter's birthday. She enjoys getting on Live to play with her friends back in Georgia and her boyfriend who's out of state. It's the simple pleasures I guess. Worked correctly, no issues. Considering getting an actual membership later on.

If you purchase the XBOX ONE gaming system for yourself or as a gift, you have to purchase the Gold membership as well. Without it you will be locked out of the full potential of your system to include online gaming, downloads, and majority of the desired systems. The 12 month card is the best purchase for the money.

If you have an xbox360 or xboxone or both like me this is a no brainer for you to get. besides playing on xboxlive you get FREE GAMES that unlike ps plus when your membership expires they lock your downloaded games making them unplayable you get to keep your games for life! So get your live card and get gaming.

Was told by an employee of the store that by purchasing the Xbox 3 month live gold, another code for additional 3 months would show up on the receipt. Since I can stack up all the subscriptions together, it was a no brainer buy. Just input the code under redeem in Xbox, fast and easy.

I have.never been one to play online but after getting Madden 16 I had to give it a shot and it's epic! Setting up and getting gold going was pretty eAsy and self explanatory. Lots of free games available as a member and my kids enjoy Using it to play with their cousin online "Minecraft" lol. Highly recommend!

Bought online and picked up in store an hour later at the Black Friday pricing! Didn’t have to stand in the huge line. Straight to the front for in store pick up. They are a great value and my kids get a year subscription every year for Christmas.

My nephew who is ten years old just knew he needed this subscription to xbox live. He said it would allow him to have access to all the features that the game has to offer. We picked the twelve month subscription because it saves money in the long run versus buying multiple one or three month subscriptions.

Love it, especially all the benefits! I just love the ability to play online, or campaign. Gaming with others outside my core set of friends sure makes meeting new people and making friends great.

It got me 12 months of XBOX Live. Which I wanted. So, you know... 5 stars. Scratching off the silver stuff to reveal the code is satisfying too. I got like a little paper cut from the edge of the card, but that’s more my own stupidity, so I can’t justify taking away a star.

Best bang for your buck, would 100% recommend if you do t want to waste money and time.

These cards are great for gifts. I buy them all the time for my grandchildren and they love them, Buy them now and watch how you make them smile.

The one year card is the best bang for your buck, but with a nice discount I was able to get this one for cheaper. Card worked with no issues.
