Purchased this item for my son because he claimed that he was not enjoying his Xbox without the ability to experience online gaming. Following the purchase, he now spends countless hours enjoying time on the console with his friends....the only problem now is him completing his homework!!!

I picked this 3 month subscription up for my son at the local Best buy store. Buying the 3 month subscription it came along with a free Rocket League game download. We got the card home. Scratched off the back to get the code and entered it in to XBox Live with no problems.

It’s awesome. Three months free for something you will pay for anyway, so what’s not to like? Having the membership opens up better gaming capabilities. Certain race challenges in Forza are only available with the Gold membership.

To get the most of your gaming system, Microsoft (and Sony) smartly require a subscription service to get more money from us. However, it's actually worth the price, and this card goes on sale all the time giving about a $10 discount for a 3 month period over a regular renewal.

A must have for any Xbox owner. Allows you to play online with players all over the world and is required for many games to access all of the gaming features. Only con is cost of buying monthly, if you can afford to purchase annually, it'll save you money overall.

I just bought this after trying out the initial Xbox live membership that comes with my Xbox. As soon as the FREE membership is over, you get withdraw symptoms. You just can't do without one. It's a must have!

While the console is so so on its own, the Xbox live feature crushes the competition. I have had more fun playing Destiny online with my friends than I can remember in a long time. Might as well buy the Xbox live service here and get BB points rather than through Xbox with no benefits.

I have not yet used this card code yet since my current membership is still good for another month or two, but I don't anticipate there will be any problems. I got a really good price on this (I think it was just $5) when purchased at the same time as a Xbox One S bundle.

Bought (3) of these for $10 less than normal price as they were on sale. My son plays online so why not pay less when you can.

This is the second year I purchased this for my son for Christmas. This is his favorite gift because it just keeps on giving. Easy to redeem on his Xbox and gives him a year of playing games with his friends and he tells me he gets such great deals on game downloads for being a gold member. Games I bought him in stores for like $40-$50 he has found for like $5-$10 using this membership so I just by him this card instead of all the expensive games, it saves me money, and makes him happy. He also gets a lot of free game downloads so it's a gift that just keeps on giving and he never runs out of games to play.

Alway a must when expires another card will be purchased. My son says theres absolutely noother way to play madden

I bought my kid 3 xbox one games and he said that was all he wants. Weeks later he tells me he wants to get the xbox live gold to play against his friends. He is always in his room playing against his friends on the xbox live. I have a very happy kid.

This is a great start for a new system. You get 4 free games each month and also have access to online gaming capabilities. This let's you have all the perks for 3 months to test out before getting a year subscription.

Gotta love online gaming. Card worked just fine. Best Buy does need online delivery of Xbox live card. Boy online and just give me a code.

Got to have Gold to have Live. I prefer to buy the cards and place them in my son's Christmas stocking from Santa, although he's past the Santa stage (but I am not!). I also would rather pay for it via card versus inputting my credit card information into the online account.

Xbox Live is good when you want to try out games rather than purchase them for full price it's also nice to have the variety and be able to play what you want they have just about everythingg

You need to have Xbox Live. With all the issues Microsoft has with their online services, the one thing that is nice is that they have not raised the price since the beginning of XBL. And now you get 4 free games every month when you are an XBL member.

So glad that Santa has access to Best Buy. My boys have been pretty naughty this year but thank goodness Santa doesn’t want to leave them empty handed. Thank you Santa and Best Buy for providing the codes that are easy to use and will get the max use.
