They got me !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to not like this system. I thought it needs more storage and an optical drive. Then it was in sale for Christmas. They got me. It was an excellent price. After setting it up, I really enjoyed the system. For the price, I forgot the limitations the system has (for now). Im very happy with this. Glad I made the purchase

Why the Series S works for me
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that there is nothing wrong with the Series S at its price point. The value and power you get for the price far outweighs the console's shortcomings vs the Series X. Here is why this console works for me: -I already own a PS5 so I have access to some of the most beautiful 4k games out there right now. -I don't own a high-end 4K TV. I've got a 43" TCL and 50" Samsung that only run at 60hz, and I play from my couch or bed. Forza on the Series S looks 4K (I do know it's upscaled 4K on the Series S) on a 43" TV sitting that far away. Also, I sometimes game on a 1080p monitor. -I've never owned an Xbox before and didn't want to justify the extra $200 when I already have a PS5. -I don't care for discs. I have the PS5 Digital Edition so I am fully digital already. This all being said, I would have bought the Series X for sure if I didn't own a PS5 and had a high-end, large 4K TV. Being someone who has an eye for HD, I wouldn't be able to handle the 4 teraflops of the Series S. Overall, I don't regret my decision. The Series S is an extremely capable machine that still renders beautiful graphics and boasts a lot of power. The world of Xbox is amazing and with Game Pass, it's unstoppably amazing. I've put many more hours into playing this in the first week than I ever did with my PS5. That's not saying the games on PS5 are worse, but having Game Pass gives me access to hundreds of good games that me and my family play.

Low Budget Next-Gen
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking to try out the new games that recently dropped or looking forward to the new ones but they’re only for next generation consoles, the Series S is pretty good purchase. Especially if 4K resolution isn’t a necessary and all you wanted to do is game, get it. It’s compact and small compare to the other new consoles. The storage size is decent for starters but you’ll eventually purchase more storage in future if you plan to play more games. Love the minimalistic design and the controller feels great. Setback is just the bettery requirements but you’ll find good accessories to help you with that besides constantly buying AA batteries. I recommend this to anyone who is a gamer with a budget or who causally games.

Series S for Travel
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Series S while on a work trip because the hotel I got put up in actually has decent Internet. It performs very well, and although the storage space is a little lacking, I was only planning on downloading a few games while I was traveling anyway. 5 stars for being the Series X's little brother.

Needs more storage
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Games now a days are two big for the 512 to be reasonable, and with external hard drives being soft locked it means it’s either you can only have a few modern games or you have to go spend another few hundred on an external storage drive. But performance and looks are amazing, very quiet too.

Amazing Console!!!

Quick Resume, 120 FPS, and Game Pass make gaming smooth and exciting. I loved it so much that I bought one for my little cousin—he’s obsessed! Perfect for any gamer looking for next-gen performance in a compact, budget-friendly package.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far the xbox series s is awesome. I last owned a 360 and never got a newer gen xbox for myself but, this is the first. even though it's digital only I'd recommend this. if you plan on playing loads of games on the xbox you'd need to find a storage expansion card.

Controller issue, amazing console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Xbox but got a stuck A button on my controller strait out of the box, and controller is unplayable because of that. Graphics are awesome though and load times are super fast, just sucks for the controller. Customer support hasn’t emailed me since when I called them, they said they would email me again and that was 3 weeks ago. Best Buy doesn’t sell the controllers on their own so I would have to return my entire Xbox and controller to get a new set entirely. Sucks.

Get It!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly better than my Series X. I have both the Series X I got from Microsoft directly. Ended up getting this as my back up gaming system for my office. If you don’t play a TON of different games it’s a steal. I only play about 3 so the memory lacking doesn’t hurt me at all and I purchase all my games as digital downloads anyways so no need for a disc drive.

Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it it’s easy to operate, the graphics are amazing. I was worried when it didn’t have a disc about her losing memory but it’s so easy to save the games to your library and then switch them around. Awesome game system.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome console for gaming, really enjoy how small it is. I travel quite a bit and its so easy to slip this in my backpack and just go from place to place and always have a powerful console to play on. Great price too, i got this for 220 and dont regret it one bit.

Happy!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great deal! Just research specs of system! No disc tray and less space, but for the price its worth it if you play casual games like 2k or something. If you want to play cyberpunk or something, maybe consider the X.
